Understand the work.
Navigate the decisions.

Building a home brings together substantial investment, technical complexity, and people with different priorities. DCKR brings construction experience and independent owner-side guidance to help owners move forward with a clearer understanding of their project.

An experienced perspective on your side of the table.

A custom home can have an architect, a builder, designers, and specialist consultants—and still leave the owner responsible for connecting the information and making difficult decisions.

DCKR was created for owners who need independent guidance at a scale that fits their project. We help make sense of scope, cost, schedule, and communication so owners can ask informed questions, understand the tradeoffs, and address concerns before they grow.

Construction experience. An independent focus on the owner.

Design Coordination, Preconstruction & Owner Advisory

Bryan Decker

Bryan brings experience across residential development, design coordination, preconstruction, luxury home construction, and owner’s representation. His background includes serving as an owner’s representative on custom homes in Beverly Hills and Miami, alongside hands-on work in field supervision, project management, estimating, and project coordination.

Design and preconstruction are central to his work. He helps owners connect design intent with the budget, scope, schedule, and practical requirements of building. His focus includes plan coordination, constructability review, estimating, bid comparison, and identifying gaps before construction begins—when decisions can still shape the outcome.

At DCKR, Bryan brings the perspectives of the developer, the construction team, and the owner to decisions from early planning through completion. During construction, that support continues through payment and change-order review, project tracking, and clear owner reporting. His approach is practical: understand the details, explain their implications, and give the owner a clear basis for the next decision.

Clear advice. Defined responsibilities.

Understand before advising

We begin with the available project information and the owner’s priorities, using site observations when relevant to the engagement.

Make the implications clear

Our work turns technical information and competing viewpoints into specific issues, practical options, and decisions the owner can understand.

Work constructively

We help owners raise concerns directly and keep discussions focused on the project, while respecting the responsibilities of the architect, builder, and other professionals.

Our role is owner-side advisory.

DCKR works for the owner. It does not serve as a neutral mediator between project parties. Each engagement defines the services, participants, and responsibilities involved.
